Tidal Vision Updates - Award from the EPA 

HHC met with leading spinners such as Buhler Yarns and world class R & D companies like Lenzing to begin talks to test spinning and blending the chitosan fiber with fibers like Tencel. Their crab shell chitin extraction plant is finally finished, and running good! READ MORE>

Tidal Vision
HHC is getting involved in some very innovative new products and technologies. We have been working with Tidal Vision, which is making fabric out of Chitin, and wallets out of salmon skins. I am putting links to Tidal Vision’s press release and background information on my site. This is not something that I normally do, but I am so proud and honored to be working with them. Tidal Vision represents the type of sustainable projects HHC loves to work on. When they could not find the right extruder for processing their yarn, they stepped up and are now building their own! Tibetan Tees project - The four main parties involved in this project are Fayettechill, Heart Hunters Consulting, the University of Arkansas (Students for a Free Tibet, Apparel Studies Department, Fulbright Honors Dept.) and the Tibetan Cultural Institute of Arkansas (TCIA, primarily by Geshe Dorjee - our major connection point to Tibetan refugees living in India).
